Υπόθεση:
At a store Henry sees a young girl stealing. He gets to know the girl by asking her to do a service in return for his silence. Henry invites Elsi to his home for swimming and she falls behind her homecoming time. When she returns to the house with her angry mother, the family living there have never heard of Henry.
Auli Mantila is asking, how far the young have to go before the adults are ready to listen and really meet them.
When Elsi and her recently divorced mother return from their holiday, the 12-year-old has a feeling someone has been in their house. Her T-shirts have been moved, and somebody has leafed through her »Jungle Book«. Shortly afterwards, when Elsi is shoplifting, as usual, in the supermarket, she suddenly finds Henry standing in front of her – and since he seems such a nice guy, she steals a toolbox for him. They laugh and go swimming together, and when Elsi is being bullied yet again by her classmates, Henry turns up. Elsi and Henry have a lot of fun – but is he real?
Auli Mantila very gradually solves the mystery about Henry, developing a parallel childhood world far from the realm of adults. Even though the main characters are children, this is no children’s film. It is a psycho-thriller that leaves us with the feeling that it might sometimes be easier for children to grow up deep in the forest like Mowgli ...
